Classic 1980's configuration of the Colt M16A1 with telescoping buttstock, round handguards, and bird cage flash hider. One 30-round NHMTG manufactured magazine is included. Barrel is marked “C MP 8”. Forward assist at right side of receiver with classic Rampant Colt logo and markings on left side of magazine well. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original matte finish with a couple nicks to the finish at the high edges. Composite furnishings near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. Bore near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt also near excellent. This is a select-fire machine gun. A nice compact M16A1 like so many American soldiers are familiar with. A great machine gun for the modern military enthusiast or for someone who simply wants a great machine gun to take to the range. As a Colt this will always be a step above the others.
