FABULOUS AND UNUSUAL TRAMP ART FRAME. The rectangular shaped frame in a layered diamond pattern has a number of glass front compartments filled with gilt seashells. 1 diamond shape in each corner and each side having 4 horizontal shell shadow boxes. 19th century. Possibly made during a sailor''s voyage. SIZE: 45" h x 36" w. Inside frame 27-3/4" h x 20" w. CONDITION: The wood work with a wonderful dark honey brown patina. The glass all intact.
