The rounded sides open to a quartre lobed rim suggesting flower petals, applied with a satin blue-green glaze suffused with crackles. Accompanied by photocopies of some photographs of Capt. Pearce along with a a photocopy of a "Map of Kyoto and Vicinity with Shopping Directory", presumably the shops he visited. SIZE: 5-3/4" dia.
