Handel desk lamp has loaf shaped shade with reverse painted decoration of purple and pink flowers, green leaves and stems all against a yellow background. Exterior has chipped ice finish. Shade is housed in cast metal base with vertically ribbed foot and stem and simple harp arms. Base is finished with rich brown patina and signed on edge of foot with impressed block letters "Handel".
