John Morgan & Sons modern stained glass lamp has six bent panels with reverse painted floral design. Designed to resemble leaded glass, bent panels are made of skylight glass which is stippled on one side and smooth on opposite. Smooth side is painted while stippled side diffuses light allowing panels to look more like leaded glass. Unsigned. Shade rests on cast metal base with four cast cartouches of art nouveau ladies heads on each section of square foot. Stem is cast with acanthus leaf design, simple riser leads to two-socket cluster. Base is finished in rich bronze tone. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 11-3/4" dia. Lamp is 19-1/2" t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent.
