Daum vase has vitrified glass cameo leaves surrounding bulbous body and slender neck of vase. Vase is further decorated with applied green glass beetle with foil backing as well as faceted red jewel (cabochon) with foil backing. Decoration is all set against an acid textured clear glass background with cased interior of mottled and striated orange and yellow glass, giving the vase wonderful depth and three dimensional feel.
