Round barrel of 2 - 1/4 inches including engraved patent breech inlaid with two German silver bands, top flat mounted with small sights. Measures 5 inches overall. Back action deringer style lock, hammer and lockplate engraved with scrolls, bolster engraved with star. German silver mounts engraved with scrollwork and rocker panel borders. Walnut stock of familiar deringer form with two checkered panels of back of grip. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel retains a light grey patina with breech slightly darker. Lock retains a dark grey patina and functions well. Mounts are unpolished and show some wear. Stock very good with a few light marks.
