Circa 1896. Outstanding original Regina Music Box, complete in mahogany finish, serial no. 36481 situated on a fine cabinet holding 50 extra discs. This Regina Style 11 Music Box has a double comb and uses 15-1/5" discs. It was distributed by C. J. ( Christopher Julius) Heppe & Sons, Philadelphia, as evidenced by the ivory tag inside the lid. The inner lid also contains an original paper label having a Greek female surrounded by cherubs decoration. It comes with an original matching base storage cabinet in the elevated platform style. The music box and base have been professionally refinished in the past.
