Handel table lamp has reverse painted band of orange poppies encircling bottom of shade with obverse painted highlights of poppies and leaves. All set against chipped ice yellow background. Signed interior "Handel 7149" with artist initials "A.H." Shade rests on original Handel base with circular platform foot and cast stylized leaf design leading to vertically ribbed stem. Base is complete with two socket cluster and pierced cap. All finished in rich brown patina. Signed on underside with impressed block letters "Handel". SIZE: Shade is 14" dia. Lamp is 20-1/4" t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with some very minor roughness to bottom rim. Base is very good to excellent with minor blistering to finish.
