Circa 1900, France. Each walnut chair with molded crestrail continuing to foliate carved shaped stiles centering an over-upholstered "butterfly wing" panel joined to the trapezoidal molded seat frame. Both covered in a blue/gray striped velvet fabric, raised on molded frontal legs and slightly curved rear legs.
