D'AVESN LUMINAIRE. D''AVESN LUMINAIRE Luminaire has glass oval with intaglio carved nude maiden with scarf in her hands and a pressed glass spray of leaves surrounding. It rests on a silver-plated lighted stand. Piece is signed at the bottom of the glass insert "P. D'Avesn". SIZE: 7-3/8" t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Maryland collection. CONDITION: There is a shell shaped flake across the bottom, which is concealed when the insert is in place as well as a bruise at the top of the glass insert. 52606-10 DAB (1,000-1,500)
