LOETZ PAPILLON VASE. LOETZ Loetz vase in the Papillon Genre has platinum iridescent oil spot decoration surrounding the body of the vase against an amber glass background. The vase has wide foot narrowing at the waist and bulging at the shoulder with pinched sides at the shoulder leading to a slightly flaring lip. The vase is mounted with a cast bronze collar and two handles. Signed on the underside "Loetz Austria". SIZE: 11" t. CONDITION: Inside rim has a few small shallow flakes visible under the metal rim and open bubbles and inclusions in the interior rim from the making, otherwise very good to excellent. 52542-1 DAB (1,000-1,500)
