THREE CLEMENT MASSIER VASES. MASSIER 1) Massier vase has squat bulbous body with slightly flaring lip and is decorated with stylized flowers and leaves and is finished in typical Massier iridescent glaze. Signed on the underside "Clement Massier Golfe Juan". 2) Clement Massier vase has conical shape and slightly pinched sides with a red iridescent peacock feather design rising from the foot against a tan background with purple iridescent random spots. Signed on the underside "Clement Massier Golfe Juan". 3) Miniature Clement Massier vase has cylindrical body with rounded shoulder and squared neck. The vase is decorated on the front with subtle red iridescent leaves, stems, and berries against a dark tan lightly iridescent background. The backside of the vase has a similar decoration done in shades of tan. Signed on the underside "CM Golfe Juan". SIZE: 1) 3-1/2" t. 2) 6-1/2" t. 3) 3-3/4" t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved North Carolina estate. CONDITION: 1) Very good to excellent. 2) Very good to excellent. 3) There is a small nick to the corner of the lip, otherwise very good. 52746-20 DAB (2,000-3,000)
