Made by Remington Arms Company between 1866-1870 with an estimated quantity of less than 800. The gun has a brass frame with octagon to round rifled barrel. Blade front sight with notched rear sight. Walnut wood stock with brass crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Gun has been heavily cleaned with iron surfaces looking to have been sandblasted to a gray pitted surface and brass polished and lacquered. Bore is shootable with visible rifling. Mechanically good and functions fine. DLM
